The True Vine

This seminar is based on John 15. God is the husbandman or caretaker of the vine and its branches. Jesus is the vine that nourishes the branch. His atonement according to the “Word of truth” provides the strength that the branch needs in order to bear fruit. The branches are the part of the plant that display the glory of the vine and bring identity to it. They bear the fruit and scatter seed that reproduces the vine. The branch cannot exist apart from the vine that feeds it. Without the branch, the vine cannot reproduce. The branches bring the vine to its fullness. God wants us to walk as one with Him in a relationship. He brings us to completeness, and we bring Him to His fullness.
